This is beneficial especially for player ship. It's actually quite decent - It has the fastest turn rate of all M7's, which means it can bear it self on target with main guns faster than other M7's. I'm occasionally using this as my player ship. I actually repaired it from 6% to full with my repair laser - while reading a book and having a weight on my Ctrl button. At the moment my "Trading outpost" has made me something like 350M of profitsss.īefore I started to look which SCH to build, I happened to find an abandoned goodie - Fully equipped Pirate Marauder. I'm storing only certain missiles here and selling everything else. I'm flying all ships brought to here to Omicron Lyrae shipyard and sell them. My reap-shuttle is bringing all the looted stuff here and Tug brings ships here and strips them at the station. Initially my tug ship was a TM, but it got shot down by pirate Marauder at some unfortunate event. So I set up an reap-shuttle (being a used ship Drake at the moment) and finally bought a second Elephant to work as a tug. Why an equipment dock you may wonder? I wanted to get a base of operations to use those quick-shuttles. TS/TP docking is no longer available in Paranid Ariadne as it was in vanilla game.įirst station I acquired was actually Argon Equipment dock and I build it in Circle of Labour. Not sure if this covers also M6 sized ships. A sidenote about TL's in Litcube Universe - They can each dock a TS/TP class ship. I found abandoned Centaur and 2 Ospreys wich gave me a nice boost on money to buy that Elephant TL for station building missions and the real money. It's mean looking and beautifull at the same time - and going as fasta as 288 m/s for an M3 is just fine. This fast and sleek ship I wanted as it is in my opinion the only suitable ship for an enterpreneur. My reputation started slowly to build up and I could purchase my first combat ship - Starburst. This also hepled alot as I stumbled accros multiple abandonedn M5's wich I could sell easily for 1M a piece (including equipments installed). Simultaneously I used my M5's to expand the known universe with advanced satellites. Put all purchased TS to Sector traders and finally to Universe traders. Buy all used ships below 80% hull, repair them and sell. I started with quite similar gameplay as most have recommended. I chose to install also satellite network mod to get more data about sectors in which I have satellites - to find all those goodies :) It exceeded all my expectations even on the basis from Willfe's videos and multiple forum threads. So I installed it, started playing with the start containing TS + 3 M5's, and was quickly sucked in to the amazing depths of work Litcube had made. Slower paced and more tactical combat, SCH, dockware managers, missile defense "on user request", the new enemies. Wiki and all other available information seemed even too good to be real. After that, it got easily quite dull as you knew that you win the combat if you play correctly. There was always the ships with "I win" embedded in them and acquiring of those ships were always the main goal. While having played multiple runs on vanilla X3AP, both without and with some mods, I started to find it a bit boring.
